My Vintage Farm 19.01.2021

Hi, farm friends and family! I hope you and your loved ones are doing well. We are doing our best to navigate through healing and find a safe way to reopen while I'm receiving immune treatments. We are considering launching pick up service days for produce and egg orders. If you're interested in something like this it would be like our delivery service but all orders would be picked up at the farm. Our number one goal is the safety of you and our family and this seems like... the most logical way to reopen in a safe setting. We miss seeing you all and look forward to developing a system that works for you and us. We would love your feedback and want to enter in this next season with success in providing healthy food from our farm to your family. Blessings, Rachele Dawn Lopez See more

Hi there Farm friends and family! Brother Robert called me last week to check in and asked my to post some regular updates. Last week I received my second stem cell transplant! We found a clinic that is here in the states and I’ve been receiving treatments for a little over two months. This has been such a blessing since traveling out of the U.S. with the COVID restrictions made receiving my treatments in March impossible. In April we moved back into the farmhouse. There wa...s a few hiccups and concerning issues but we’re back inside and slowing making it a home again. We are so happy to have the space and to have the beauty of it. Moving forward we will have annual tests run on it to be sure it stays safe. Mold is everywhere but the one place we all need to be sure it’s not is in our home especially toxic molds. The farm it’s really coming to life we worked so hard to plant crops this year and had the support from many community members who came out to lend a hand and take some of the work load off myself and my daughter. We put in new pasture fences for the cows and horses and we’re doing so much to be able to reopen. Our stand is being remodeled we separated the outer shelves and we are in the middle of putting something special together here for the community. We’re still don’t have refrigerators to be able to open for eggs sales but we’re working on it. Thank you all for being so patient with us. This year I went from fighting for my life to fighting for healing. We lost our home and all our belongings and we’re slowly repurchasing the essentials. Through it all we have maintained our farm. Expanded our spaces for the animals put in picnic spaces, upgraded the farm plots, put in parking areas outside and inside the gate, expanded the driveway, repaired and rebuilt the tractor, remodeled the stand, survived mold, remediation, renovation, living in a trailer for 7 months, two transplants, a pandemic, and an electrical fire taking out all our refrigerators. We're here for you, we want so badly to be your community farm. We're doing all we can to get everything ready to reopen and we can't wait to see you all again real soon. Thank you so much for all your support we have crops planted and looked forward to all that this season has for our farm and family. See you soon! Please take a minute to check out our YouTube channel and follow along behind the scenes of our farm. We have a farm your video coming at the end of this week.

Hi there farm family and community! What are we doing with our eggs? Our stand is set to open on April 1st... In the meantime our eggs are spoken for. We don't want to profit during this time, we're working with Community members who are elderly, have health conditions, or children with dietary limitations. We are not selling eggs we are gifting them to those in need who need a safe unpopulated place to get them. We apologise for any inconvenience. We care about our entire community and look forward to meeting your farm fresh food needs, very soon. Health update! My second transplant was scheduled for March 17th and had to be postponed due to the outbreak of this virus. We Reopen... April 1st Please remember I'm severely immune compromised and if you're not feeling well please consider placing a pick up order once we reopen. We will gladly package your order and set up a pick up time, and we prefer you pay online if you're not feeling well. This helps to keep this farmer and my family safe. We're doing everything possible to keep me farming and our farm stand up and running. Thank you all for your support. We hope and pray that you and your family are staying safe. God bless, Rachele Dawn Lopez
