Procedures for your upcoming dental appointment with Amine G. Khoury DDS Dear Patient Family, We are pleased to announce that our office will be re-opening May 18, 2020. Our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients, families, staff, and community. Given the current environment with COVID-19, we have implemented the following protocols in our office that we want you to be aware of:... Patients will wait in their vehicles until a treatment room is made available. Patients will be screened using a questionnaire. Patients are asked to not bring others into the dental practice unless they are parents or guardians of patients who are minors or are special needs patients. If someone accompanies a patient, they will be asked to wait in their vehicle or outside the office. Patients are asked to wear a mask while in the office. Hand sanitizer will be made available. Additionally, we have installed TruSens Air Purifiers in the office, which use 360 HEPA Filtration and UV Light Sterilization to kill bacteria and viruses. As the mandatory stay-at-home order comes to an end, our team is diligently preparing to see you at your upcoming appointment. With this in mind, we have been closely monitoring the rapidly-changing situation around COVID-19 (commonly referred to as Coronavirus), responding to new information as it arises, and preparing for all possible scenarios, with the goal of con...tinuing to safely serve your health care needs. We have and will continue to strive to keep our patients and staff healthy by offering high-quality dental care. The state-of-the-art hygiene practices employed by our office exceed the CDC’s Standard Protections for infection control, which have been deemed appropriate to combat the 2019 Novel Coronavirus. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks, gloves, protective eyewear, and gowns, has led to better protection for our staff and patients. Our use of disinfectants, up-to-date sterilization practices, dedicated handwashing, and one-time-use disposable materials also have all helped facilitate safe dental visits for our patients.
