Children and families are suffering in Myanmar. MCF supports peace, healthcare, education and food security projects - all of which have been put in jeopardy across the country. We grieve for the loss of life, the hunger, the disruption of livelihoods, the chaos and the fear that citizens are experiencing. We applaud the courage of those who are standing up to unlawful hijack of their political and economic systems, the Civil Defense Movement (CDM).
We stand with the people of Myanmar.
Our Board of Directors met yesterday to discuss the changing situation in Myanmar with the military takeover. We are reaching out to our partners and want them to know we will do what we can to support charitable efforts going forward. We stand with the people of Myanmar!
We stand with our friends and partners in Myitkyina, Kachin State. Education matters, teachers matter, leadership matters. Our prayers are with you. Myanmar Children's Foundation

Join me in donating to this campaign, run by out partner Bridge Burma. The funds will go to support street vendors who don't always have the privilege of staying at home during COVID epidemic. Without support, their families go hungry and are at increased risk of exposure. Funds will be distributed in Yangon, Sanchaung, Hlaing Thar Year and Dawbon townships.
The Pan Swe School community did a really nice job on creating the concrete walkways for their school.
We thank Pan Swe School for sending birthday wishes to our Board member, Susan. We are thinking about you all and are happy the new walkways and entrance at your school will make your school lives better.
The world is coping, as best we can.
