I promised my folks that I wouldn’t ask them to do something I wasn’t willing to do myself.
Last night your Murrieta firefighters, along with Corona, Riverside County, and Soboba firefighters participated in vaccinate the vaccinator at Rancho Springs Medical Center. A number of Murrieta firefighter/paramedics are partnering with the county’s healthcare providers to vaccinate our community and those in need. We do much more than fight fires. Community health is the essence of our mission.... We would like to thank Rancho Springs Medical Center and Southwest Healthcare Systems for hosting the clinic.
We are still growing our base of everyday heroes. If you have not signed up yet do it today. The life you save could be a friend, neighbor, or family member. #PulsePoint Find out more: https://bit.ly/31NvsJ3
Your tree dries out more and more with each day it’s in your home. While keeping your Christmas tree around a little longer may be aesthetically pleasing, but you may be putting your family at risk. Make a plan to remove it and reduce the odds of a house fire.
Nearly 1000 people die every day in the U.S. from sudden cardiac arrest. This Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month learn CPR, download the @pulsepoint app, and help save a life. @1000livesaday #SCAAMonth
Don't worry Pierce, Santa is on his way. Your "seasonal" position with us has come to an end. Thank you for spreading a little holiday cheer on a gloomy year. See you next year! #HereComesSantaClaus
Our heart felt prayers to the 2 firefighters from Orange County Fire Authority who where critically burned fighting the Silverado fire earlier today. Please keep them, their family and friends in your thoughts and prayers and those who continue to fight the fires tonight.
Information regarding the #BlueRidgeFire in #OrangeCounty.
Smoke & Dust advisory is in effect through Tuesday, October 27, 2020. In areas directly impacted by windblown dust: limit your exposure by remaining indoors with windows and doors closed and avoiding vigorous physical activity. #staysafe
Yesterday, several-concerned citizens reached out to Murrieta Fire, our 9-1-1 professionals, and City Hall concerned with the appearance of a fire truck in a local political parade. The fire truck shown in the photo below is not related to Murrieta Fire & Rescue in any way. It looks like the fire truck is older and possibly retired from another fire agency and now owned by a private person. Again, this is not a Murrieta Fire & Rescue fire truck. We appreciate each American’...s right to vote how they choose on Election Day. It is not within the guidelines or operating procedures of this agency to promote or advertise for any political candidate on any platform. Here’s what you can do to help protect yourself and others this Holiday Season: Wear a mask over your mouth AND nose when in public. Stay home when you can. Stay at least 6 feet apart from others and avoid crowds. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water aren’t available.

A Message from Loma Linda University Medical Center - Murrieta. We at Murrieta Fire & Rescue have seen the surge of COVID-19 in our community for the past few days. Today, the resources have reached "unsustainable" levels for our hospitals. The best "thank you" to our health care providers right now - is protecting yourself and others. Please, stay home; wear your mask, and only call 9-1-1 or go to the emergency room if it is absolutely necessary.

Thanksgiving 2020 feels very different this year, however, you celebrate today, let's all give thanks for our families, our health, and our community.
Always remember to plan ahead if you will be celebrating. If you plan to drink, plan for a sober driver to take you home. Is it your turn to be the designated driver? Take that role seriously and do not consume alcohol, not even one drink. #MFRCares
This Thanksgiving Eve, let’s spread the message about the dangers of impaired driving and Boycott Blackout Wednesday! Remember: Buzzed Driving Is Drunk Driving. #MFRCares
We can't stress this one enough: More cooking fires happen on #Thanksgiving than any other day of the year! Stand by your pan: If you leave the kitchen, turn the burner off. Always turn pot handles toward the back of the stove.... #ThanksgivingDinner
