Did you know trees grow in two forms? First, the primary, which produce cells in the the shoots and roots. Secondly, the lateral growth, which increases the diameter. Therefore, growth of shoots and roots is called primary growth. The presence of secondary growth is within the stems, branches, trunk and producing wood. This allows the tree to grow a lot. The exception to this phenomenon are palm trees, which lacks secondary growth. -Jesus

Leaving dead trees standing for a long time creates potential danger to surroundings such as structures or other valuable areas. Standing dead trees become snags (decay trees). The wood of the tree become brittle and the branch attachment becomes weak. It is better to take initiative and remove the tree as soon as possible. Tree climbers would not be able to climb the tree due to the danger of the tree. Some tree service companies would not take on these type of jobs especially if is a pine that has been dead for a while and if a crane can’t access to a tree or there is not enough space to fell the tree. If there is a dead tree on your property, call a tree service company as soon as possible. -Jesus
