Don't miss tomorrow morning's webinar with @laikastudios from 11:00am-12:00pm (PST) as part of CCA Career Development's "Recruiter Week!" Recruiters Amy Hurwitz & Angela Geier from Laika will be giving a presentation focused on insider tips for applying to jobs at studios (what to do, what to not do, etc.). Laika is an American stop-motion animation studio specializing in feature films, commercial content for all media, music videos, and short films. The studio is best known for its stop-motion feature films Coraline, ParaNorman, The Boxtrolls, Kubo and the Two Strings and Missing Link.

Now that it's summer, it's a great time to spend making your home studio work for you! Swipe over for more tips on settling into your home workspace: 1. Set up your space: Block of an area (corner of your apartment, spare room, garage, etc.) as your new "studio space" 2. Consider your process: Determine what you need to work (i.e. good ventilation, wallspace, a table to spread out, etc.)... 3. Stock your supplies: Take stock of your current resources, and keep essential supplies handy 4.
