This full and fluffy set on this brown eyed beauty is giving us all the lash feels Volume lash extension clients! Here are some tips on how to maintain the fluffiness of your fans in between your lash appointments: Brush your lashes!!! Brushing your lashes helps to untangle and seperate the fans.... No using mascara! If you have volume lashes, mascara is not a good idea for it actually ends up closing up the fans. If lashes get wet, it's important to dry them right away! When fans get wet, (whether by water, tears, sweat, or humidity) they also close up and if not dried away, they will stay closed and look spiky. A mini hand fan or even just brushing them will do. On the dot 2 week fills are recommended. Why? Being that fans are technically heavier on the natural lashes than 1 on 1 classic extensions, if the fans are too grown out and heavy on the natural lashes, this can weigh down the natural lash and cause permanent damage in the long run. Did you know that this lamp hanging in our lash studio is from Vietnam?! In August of 2010, us Moon Sisters went on a family trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. It was such an amazing experience and probably one of our favorite trips we've been on (and we’ve been on a lot of international trips ). Well, this handmade wooden lamp came from a little market in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City. We fell in love with these wooden woven hanging lamps, we just had to purchase one and bring it back... home with us! This little lamp here means so much to us because it holds so many memories, so we are very happy we found a purpose for it here at The Moon Room. Every time we see it, glimpses of that memorable trip pop into our minds: the delicious food, the incredibly nice people, the motorcycle filled streets, riding on tuks tuks, trying to cross a street where there are no stop signs or even street signals, the beautiful tropical beaches, the rice hats, Vietnamese coffee (and weasel coffee...), our favorite Vietnamese bar called The Funky Monkey, the old men sitting on miniature chairs on the sidewalks enjoying their bowls of noodle soups, little old ladies carrying foods and other things on carrying poles made from bamboo sticks, the smiling little kids practicing their English with us, oh we can just go on and on...
