Moldy Toes Records

A whole bunch of great used records will be going out today. Here is a small sample of what will be going into the wild. Three crates worth will be on the floor, they will be refilled throughout the day. Shop early and shop often.

Here’s the deal for RSD: We open at 6am however the line will start before 3am. I will be on site around 4. I will start passing out cards around 4:30 (these will hold your place in line). I still have a bunch of stuff to do, so I will be working on the set up prior to store opening. You can buy all the RSD items you want, but only one of each. We received almost every single title (we ordered everything), but a few didn’t make it and a lot of numbers were cut (order six, get... four etc). If you can bring cash, even if it’s just part of your tab, it is greatly appreciated. We are unable to hold or accept prepayment on any items, but around 10am we will accept PayPal orders over the phone (you need to call or text) 949.444.8275. We can mail you your entire order for just $5 (records/CDs/cassette only) anywhere in the USA . We are unable to ship until Tuesday. In addition to all the great RSD titles, we have been hoarding a whole bunch of amazing used records. As soon as I have it set up in the morning, a video will be posted. Starting to price what I hope is the last of the RSD stuff. Here is a sample of what was inside. The phone has been ringing off the hook. I can’t hold this stuff, I can’t accept pre-payment, I can’t sell it today or tomorrow. I don’t know how much your records are or how many came in. I have 19 BOXES of priced RSD stuff. It’s probably here, but it isn’t getting unboxed until Friday night AFTER we close. Stay tuned for a video flip through on Friday night. REMEMBER: We open at SIX IN THE MORNING on Saturday. The mini remodel is almost complete. Russell is marking down a bunch of CDs to fill up the $1.99 clearance section. New CDs will now have twice the space, cassettes are being expanded too. See ya tomorrow!

Product overload part two: The boxes keep on coming with no end in sight. These are getting filed today, more being priced. Open until five today.

The lines to VOTE are shorter than those at Disneyland on a rainy day. The in-person voting started today in California. If you have yet to mail your ballot, you can drop them off all over the place or vote in person. It took me less than five minutes, no waiting and it was easy. PLEASE, vote!! Thank you. Guess what I did today ... yep, priced a whole bunch of records. Stop by tomorrow, I have crates full of used stuff that went out on Saturday and Sunday, still have about 1/3 of the Drop 3 titles and now all of this catalog hitting the bins. Wait a minute, Record Store Day Drop 3 is tomorrow?? WTF, I thought you just had one. If that’s what’s going through your brain right now, I’m 100% with you. We open at six in the morning, but fear not if that’s too early, we will stay open until six in the evening. In addition to all the great RSD stuff, a whole bunch of used records are going out too. From the common stuff like John Denver and Joan Baez to first pressings of X and New Order, indie Green Day and some nice SST Bad Brains titles. Forget about showering or brushing your teeth, everyone has to wear a mask and maintain social distancing, so it’s cool. Just make the scene, cuz we would love to see ya.
