Modoc County 4-H Program

Attention all retuning adult project leaders. Friday 11/14 Modoc 4-H will be hosting an in person returning leader’s training at the Vets Hall in Alturas @ 6:30. If you plan to attend please call and RSVP by 5 pm Thursday 11/12 233-6400. Training should last less than an hour. Dessert will be provided. We look forward to seeing there.

The Modoc County Cattlewomen & Cattlemen are once again sponsoring the Bret Hill Memorial Beef Scholarship & Project. Applications are available at the 4-H Office, and must be returned to the Cattlewomen by November 15th. For any 4-H or FFA youth in Modoc County that is interested in starting or expanding a beef herd this is a perfect opportunity. The 4-H Office is open Monday - Thursday 7:00 am til 5:00pm, so come on down and pick up an application.
