Join us next Tuesday from 6-7 pm for our first general meeting with guest speaker, Dr. Sunny Nakae, who will be presenting on cultural competency and her work. Meeting details below. About our Guest Speaker Dr. Nakae is the Senior Associate Dean for Equity, Inclusion, Diversity, and Partnership, and Associate Professor of Medical Education at CUSM. Prior to joining CUSM, she served as Associate Dean for Student Affairs at the UCR School of Medicine, where she holds an adjunc...t appointment as Associate Professor of Social Medicine, Population and Public Health. This is a reminder that we will have our 3rd general meeting/workshop tomorrow night from 6-7 pm. We will be having guest speakers, Langenwalter and Lizbeth Cardenas who are both doctorate students at Claremont Graduate University, speaking on "Developing Community-Facing Health Education Materials." This is a reminder that we will have our first general meeting tonight. It will have two parts: For current members, please attend the workshop from 6-7 pm. Next, we will have our Open House from 7-8:30 pm following the workshop. All is welcome to attend our Open House.
