Our students come back to let us know how they are doing. They know we care about them and that they are family.

We are having a wonderful program this summer. Children will have an opportunity to participate in our Summer Bridge Program. Summer Bridge will review grade level skills and the Common Core Assessment students will have to take next year.

Looking for all Learning Tree Enrichment Center Alumni (parents or students) The Learning Tree is celebrating its 35th year of serving the community. Just to make it a little interesting we would like to offer a free diagnostic assessment (worth $100) to students or parents who were part of the center and fit the following categories 1) the youngest student to ever attend the center, 2) the oldest student to attend the center or the oldest person to respond to this message..., 3) the family with the most children attending over a period of time, 4) the student who has obtained the highest degree, 5) the person who brought in the most additional clients. Put a post on our page stating your name and information that supports why you should win the category. We would like to hear from all of the families who we have been able to help over the last 35 years. Post on our page and let us know who you are, when you attended (approximately), and how you are doing. If you want to send a shout out telling how we helped you or your children we would really appreciate that. If you attended when either Mike McLinn, Cynthia Coleman, or Patricia Carey (my prior name) was a part of the center please let us know. Mike and Cynthia are friends of the center and would love to hear from you, also. Also, this is also a good way to connect with people you knew at the center. You can give the diagnostic session to friends or relatives as a gift or use it for yourself. We will keep this running at least through the end of February. Hope to hear from you. Hi, I’m a graduate student at Fielding Graduate University, I would like to invite you to take part in an online survey that I am doing, looking at why African American Parents are choosing charter schools. The purpose of this survey is to identify the reasons that African American parents have chosen charter schools for their children. If you are a parent who has lived in the Los Angeles/Inglewood area and has ever chosen a charter school for your child, you are eligible t...o participate in this survey. It will take 7-10 min. To begin the survey, click or copy and paste https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/AfricanAmericanParentCharter Please share this unique survey opportunity with African American parents you know who have chosen to place their children in charter schools by forwarding this invitation. The deadline for responses is February 28, 2013. We thank you in advance for your participation. For more information, please contact: Patricia Kimathi Learning Tree Enrichment Center 8465 S.
