I'm posting a warning about a phone call scam in which people pretending to be the IRS are trying to bully you into giving them your personal info. in order to get your money. Note the IRS will not call you out of the blue, they do not ask for credit card or debit card info. over the phone and they do not send emails. Just a reminder as the end of the year approaches, donations to charity are tax deductible for people who itemize. Make sure you get a receipt for the donation. Every recognized charity will provide one. But don't let this tax deduction rule you if you feel like giving to someone where there is no tax deduction.
