Folks, we are begging you please leave your pups at home during the hot days! This little 5-year-old girl was found in a hot car in the South Napa marketplac...e while someone was shopping today around noon. An alert citizen called us for help. When the Napa Police Officer and the Napa County Sheriff Office Animal Service Officer arrived they found her alone in a locked car. The Animal Control Officer used a thermometer to measure the heat inside the car (a whopping 136!!!) Thanks to the alert citizen, this little girl is resting safely at the vet for observation while the Animal Control Officer completes the investigation. See more
