How are you going to celebrate? When every day of the month is Caturday, there are so many possibilities! Here are some suggestions for joining in this month of fun feline festivities (including ways to earn a bonus loyalty stamp from us!) Buy some new cat toys: Cats get bored easily, so getting new toys will help to keep them stimulated and their mind sharp. Splurge on new cat furniture: Whether it's a new bed, scratching post or cat tree, your cat will love having something... new to explore in the house. Teach them a trick: Here are 3 easy tricks you can start with. Primp your pet: Get their nails trimmed, brush their fur, and brush their teeth. Make sure to give them lots of treats during and after! Schedule a check up: What better way to love your cat than by making sure they are in tip-top shape! You can easily request an appointment right here in the app Share the love in your community: Make a cat food donation to a local rescue, or volunteer to love on some of the shelter kitties. Capture the memories: You can never have enough pictures of your feline friend. During the month of December, upload a selfie of your cat here in the app, and we will give you a bonus loyalty stamp to show how much we love your cat, too! (one stamp per person) See more

Did you know that our team can communicate with you directly from our app? This includes messages from the doctor, surgery updates and even photos of your pet! Please take a moment to check your phone's notification settings to ensure that alerts are ON so you don't miss anything. From your Hospital App: Tap the three lines on the top left corner of your home screen.... Tap the Settings button at the bottom. Tap "Notifications" under Change Your Password. This will open your phone's Notification settings for our app. Make sure that Notifications are ON, and that all sounds, badges and alerts are on as well. Now you're ready to receive communications and super cute photos!

Thanksgiving is a special holiday that brings together family and friends, but it also can carry some hazards for pets. Holiday food needs to be kept away from pets, and if you are traveling, either transport your pets safely or find safe accommodations for them at home. Follow these tips to keep your pets healthy and safe during the holiday. Lots of company can also stress out your pets, so be sure to give them a safe place to get away from the crowd.... We hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, and we are thankful for YOU!

We would like to remind you to please make sure your app is updated with the new chat feature, and your notifications are turned on while your pet is in our hospital. Not only has the demand for Veterinary medicine increased dramatically this year, with the recent curbside procedures phone traffic has also increased by 104%! Unfortunately we do not have enough phone lines or staff to assist everyone, which is why we rely heavily on the app chat feature to communicate with ou...r clients during their pets appointments. At ACVH we have only the highest standards for our patients' care even if this does take some extra time. Most pets treatments or services will take around 20-40 minutes to prepare for and complete, which can only happen after the plan has been reviewed and approved by you, and the payment process is complete. All of this now takes place in the app. Our policy at ACVH is that we will not treat your pet without your approval and completion of this process. Here is some more information about our new process, and some tips to be prepared and help avoid delays in your appointment.
