Recently, my son and I took a quick trip to the Trona Pinnacles. It's actually a cool place. This is the second time I have been there. Both times the wind was howling! I had hoped to do some night shots but the clouds took hold. I changed it up and did some nighttime long exposures. Had a great day! Spent the day in Bishop checking out petroglyph then stopped at Red Rock State Park. Ended up in Tehachapi for the night then on into home tomorrow. Had a blast today! My first time snow shoeing! Lots of snow at Lassen. I have the best husband. Thank you Mike, Jarred and Justin for going on my snow shoe adventure!

Like I said, it's the photos in between that are the best. It's like herding cats. I even had grandpa make an appearance to help with the herding but instead he showed them how to throw rocks and sticks into the water and run amuck in the field. Jess just wanted a couple of photos for Christmas cards. Good luck girl. Just go with the outtakes. They crack me up.
