Mama Cakes

I think this is the third year that I've made birthday cupcakes for Mike and Kim. Every year they ask for the same thing, every year I'm surprised they want the same thing, then I taste it and I'm like, "Yeah...this is the best cake I make." Chocolate cake, coconut cream cheese frosting, and (last year's addition and OMG it's like CRACK) toasted coconut caramel pecan filling. happy birthday Mike and Kim!!

Let the packing commence! Just got my @asmartmovesd boxes delivered today. Unfortunately that means a little cake biz hiatus while I pack and move over the next two weeks. I will let y'all know when I'm back up and running when I get settled into my new place! Thanks for your patience!!

Saw a post the other day advertising @disneyland 's Dole Whip donut (thanks @chef_lawless !!) and suddenly I HAD to make it into a cupcake.
