Day one of our grand RE-OPENING is running smoothly. The A/C is turned down to 'nice-and-coool' with plenty of tables spaced-out for social distancing. A FOOD... ORDER IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO THE PURCHASE OF YOUR DRINK (via Mama Mia Pizzeria - Tower District) but there are plenty of delicious options to choose from!! Pizza, burgers, hot sandwiches, and tasty appetizers! We're staying safe (and chilled) with some nice tunes on the TouchTunes jukebox. We close up shop at midnight, so you still have plenty of time to get down here!

One of the highlights of today's performance by Lucy's Lounge artist-in-residence Richard Giddens.... The saxophone player in this video clip, Dr. Otto Lee, cam...e in to Mama Mia's Pizzeria to grab a bite to eat, and as it turns out, he had his saxophone in the car. During an intermission break, he was asked to go out and bring it back in. the next thing we knew the quartet became a quintet and the five musical artists delivered an incredible impromptu performance. Richard Giddens will be our featured musician on every Sunday through the month of October! Come in to enjoy world class musicianship at its finest from 4 p m. to 7 p.m. weekly here at Lucy's Lounge.
