Sometimes you just need some shots with your friends.... ;D
Here is a clip showing the beginning of the #SueJean scene in Act 1 of Spell #7 by Ntozake Shange. Here Alec Keenan Everett Michael Todd) and Eli (who also performed some of Natalie's lines May Uriah Wells) set the scene (both through dance and text) for a piece that is truly heart-wrenchingly and hauntingly beautiful. SPELL #7 ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! Because ticket reservations are not matching the number of bodies that show up (for WHATEVER reason) all those that would catch the last two showings of Spell #7 are more than welcome to come tonight and tomorrow without a ticket. Please arrive 30 minutes early (7:30pm today, 2:30pm tomorrow). Thank you! It's been such a blessing to do this work and see so many colored folk (and young colored folk at that) in the audience. People have come back multi...ple times to see the show, and we have yet to disappoint an audience member (and it'll never happen), so please come on out and support young Black artists!!! *spread the word*
