Spring Season 2022 Registration Closes this Friday! Only 2 days left to register for LAYB. There are still openings in all divisions. Go to LAYB.org and click the registration tab in the top right of the screen... Registration for the Spring 2022 Season at Los Alamitos Youth Baseball is still open. Registration will close for all divisions on December 31st. Please look at the key dates listed. They are tentative and subject to change. Notes: - A family discount of $10 will be applied for each additional child registered during the signup process. - Active military registration is free. Please contact the Players Agent for assistance. - Once you input a player's birth date, the eligible division will display. Some will have an option for either Foal or Shetland. We recommend that you select Shetland and attend evaluation day. If we think an extra year of Foal would be beneficial, we will let you know then. The Drive-Up MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach Film and Food Event Series features two different drive-up movies and food truck meet ups each month at the Los Alamitos Youth Baseball Parking Lot (4370 Farquhar Avenue) from 7:00pm-10:00pm. In response to the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and in an abundance of caution, Los Alamitos Youth Baseball (LAYB) is suspending ALL practices and games effective immediately. The fields will be closed to all baseball activities and we are discouraging team activities outside of our facility. The city of Los Alamitos has already suspended field use at Little Cottonwood Park and Laurel Park for the remainder of March. The plan is to monitor the situation closely and follo...w the recommendations of state and local officials. We will resume regularly scheduled games on March 28th. In addition, LAYB is also postponing picture day this Sunday, March 15th with an eye on rescheduling at a later date. We will keep you informed as soon as a definitive date is selected. Our first priority is the health and safety of our players and families. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate this uncharted territory.
