Calling all Live Oak School high school alumni! We are hosting a high school night on November 12. If you are interested in coming back and talking about your experience to current eighth graders and their parents, please email our Dean of Student Life, [email protected].
We love sharing what our alumni are up to. Even better when it connects with current Live Oak students! This weekend checkout the world premiere of Live Oak's Stephanie Temple's new play for young audiences. Live Oak alums Ben Billings, Sophia Patterson, McKenzie Isaac, and Sydney Duncan star in the new play, The Emperor's New Posts at New Conservatory Theatre Center. Two current students stage manage the production.... https://www.nctcsf.org/family-shows/the-emperors-new-posts

One school year away from being alumni: Class of 2020!
Alyssa Mitchel '07, will premiere The Classroom at the ODC Dance Commons, Studio B (351 Shotwell Street, SF, CA 94110) on Saturday, September 7th at 8 p.m. and Sunday, September 8th at 6 p.m. Each of the five sections of the work examines a particular element of the learning process. The piece features seven dancers and integrates the recorded interview responses of twenty-six students, teachers and professors from Bay Area schools (including some from Live Oak!), as well as the written reflections of four high school students from the Urban School of San Francisco. http://odc.dance/theclassroom
