Some Dr. Seuss fun last week with the kids!

Super fun February baking theme! Footprint and handprint Moose, cupcakes, decorated cookies and fun donuts! The crafts were fun, but the taste testing was the kids favorite!

Registration for the 2021/2022 school year will be open to the public on March 1st. Spots are limited, message us to set up a tour!

Our gingerbread theme is up with our Gingerbread Cafe, Gingerbread 5 Senses science, Christmas village sensory bin and gingerbread playhouse!

Thanksgiving craft fun and we even made pumpkin pies! I love baking with the kids!

Just a reminder we will be closed all next week for Thanksgiving break. School resumes Tuesday, December 1st! We hope everyone has a happy and healthy Thanksgiving!

November classes start Tuesday and we have 2 afternoon class openings. Call or text to set up a time to take a tour!

October is such a fun month. Pumpkins, Nocturnal animals and of course Halloween!! We start some really fun science experiments, stem projects and of course cute crafts!

Our dinosaur theme is up and ready for the kids. We are also opening our outdoor play area this week, just in time for our dinosaur dig where they get to dig like paleontologist for dinosaurs, bones and fossils! This is a fun science theme learning about fossils and the long extinct dinosaurs, with erupting volcano's, fizzy dino eggs and painting lava. Can't wait for the kids to see it all!

Our barn is almost full, sheep and cows made and last but not least is our pigs! Farm theme comes to an end this Friday!

We are ready for our first day of school! Can't wait to see the kids!

Ice cream week has started! So far we have painted with with sponges and made tissue paper ice cream cones. Today we practiced sharing with a fun ice cream passing game and relay.

Such a fun first week of camp! The kids got very creative this week making binoculars, glow in the dark lightning bug jars, lanterns, marshmallow painting, cork boats and smores trail mix! Next week is Ice Cream theme, can't wait!!

It was so great to be back with the kids this week and they seemed to have fun too! Today was all about smores and marshmallows! We painted with marshmallows, matched letter marshmallows, made smores and the kids made their own smores trail mix! (All ingredients were measured into cups by myself and poured into the bags by the kids themselves so no other kids touched the ingredients.) Can't wait for next weeks Ice Cream theme. Our curriculum is customized to each child's level during our small group lessons and can back up the virtual learning they will be doing with their teachers. Here is our list of fun for Week 2! Ice Cream - Week 2 Monday - Intro to class, friends and teacher. Review hygiene, class rules and how to be a friend. Explore Ice Cream choices and mixtures. Sponge & cotton ball painting, outdoor bubble fun and Splat the Cat!!... Tuesday - Should I Share my Ice Cream Review sharing and caring, share the ice cream game, ice cream playdough, ice cream bowl painting and outdoor sharing relay. Introduce/Review magnets! Wednesday Ice cream stacking game, making ice cream in a bag, magnet comparisons what is magnetic?, otter pops and musical fun outside. Thursday Bean bag toss game, ice cream slime painting, chalk painting outside, magnet races which magnets are stronger. Friday Sundae Party Please wear clothes that can get wet! Ice cream search party, sand art, water balloon fight and Sundae Party!!

I finally got a chance to get everything together and make a schedule for the upcoming Summer Camp. So here is just a few things we will be doing each day on top of the regular centers, lessons and circle time. Camping Week 1: Monday - Intro Day - Learn about our friends, our class and our teacher. Review hygiene, being a friend and classroom rules. Discuss camping and what it is, rock painting, camping sticker scene. Tuesday - Exploring and Intro to Magnets. Making binocul...ars and going on an animal search. Introduce magnets and have some fun with them. Wednesday - Fireflies! Learning about bugs in a forest and fireflies - Why do they glow! Make a firefly jar, bubble fun outside and a great firefly audio book! Thursday - Camping Fun - Making a lantern and then using for firesdie story telling. Magent boards and comparing what is and isn't magneting and boat decorating and races outside! Friday - Smores!! Come in clothes you can get wet!! Learning about smores, how to make them and where they came from. Magnetic fishing, marshmallow painting and water balloon fun!! See more
