Taking advantage of the great weather with shaving cream and water play

We released out butterflies! A few of the butterflies even sat on the kids fingers! They were so exited when the butterflies took flight. The kids chased them, cheered, jumped up and down, and gave them long waves and claps as they flew away.

Over the weekend I worked on a few more projects to allow the kids the opportunity to use tools in the classroom. The screwdriver blocks were a hit! Can’t wait to introduce our hammer and nail project next week.

What an exciting morning! Our butterflies came out of their cocoons!
