In observance of #MothersDay, we want to the amazing mothers and mother figures that make up United We Dream. Meet my mom Rosario. She arrived in this country ...more than 25 years ago. In that time, she has worked hard, paid taxes, single-handedly raised a family, started her own business, and yet, she has no clear path to gaining legal status. She is a strong and proud Latina and mother. Her unconditional love of me as her gay son, her organizing and empowerment in Florida of other undocumented mothers, and her resilience in the face of so much opposition and oppression is my inspiration. - Marco Quiroga See more
