On January 19th, staff will present to City Council the 2040 General Plan Draft Land Use Map, Proposed Roadway Changes, and other Key Strategies and recommend approval for staff to proceed to Phase 3 of the project. This item was continued from the December 1st meeting. Staff received many questions regarding the proposed strategy to allow a greater array of housing types in single-unit neighborhoods. The Sacramento Food Bank serves over 20 other entities that provide food assistance in our local area and is in need of financial assistance . They must buy most of the food they distribute and are no longer able to do events like canned food and non perishable food drives as they might have in the past because of Covid 19.
