Congratulations to the incredible Anti Haskell, our LCH Volunteer of the Year! There is no question that Anti has been instrumental in our community throughout her entire time at LCH. There aren't enough adjectives to describe how much she has supported families, staff, and students over the last 9 years. This year, during the pandemic, her support hasn't waned. Each week when you read the PTA newsletter, that continues so successfully because of Anti! Thank you, Anti for every moment of your time and support! LCH is better because of YOU!

How is everyone doing with their iReady Challenge? We're 5 days in and going strong, right? Oh, believe me, we know that some days the kids definitely whine abo...ut having to do school over break... but then we remind them that it's less than 1 hour of work in a whole day! And besides, then they can earn some video game time, heh heh heh Here's the form to keep track of participation and turn in after break: bit.ly/iReadyWinter

Close contact quarantine guidelines can be confusing. The most important thing to remember is 14 days and no interaction with people outside your household. It's HARD! And a great reason to limit your exposure and any potential close contacts! *Noteworthy....I know of individuals who were tested toward the end of their quarantine and tested positive after having been negative and having been fully quarantined! AND, even tested positive while being completely asymptomatic! Qu...arantine timelines and testing are so important to stop any potential unknowing spread! Here are the public health guidelines regarding quarantine. https://www.sandiegocounty.gov//COVID-19%20Home%20Quaranti
