The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department COVID-19 Super-Spreader Task Force has been fully mobilized & will be conducting multiple operations tonight all o...ver County of Los Angeles. In LA County a person dies of #COVID every 10 minutes. Let’s save lives by staying home tonight! During the month of December, 235 arrests were made, 7 illegal firearms were taken off the streets & 1 at-risk juvenile was rescued by @lasdhq personnel. I have made it clear that we will seek out & take law enforcement action against all "Super-Spreader" events in County of Los Angeles #StayHealthyAtHome #COVID19Enforcement

We are aware of the limited Stay at Home Order issued by the Governor today. Since the first Stay at Home Order was issued in March of this year, we have focuse...d on education and voluntary compliance, with criminal enforcement measures being an extreme last resort. We trust in the community and rely on people to assess risk and take precautions as appropriate. See more

A parent’s worst nightmare is when something terribly wrong is happening to your baby. Today #LASD Norwalk Sheriff's Station Deputies responded to a Whittier ho...me regarding a 911 call for a 4 month old baby girl, who was not breathing. Deputies arrived to the home in seconds and immediately performed CPR on the unresponsive baby. They were able to successfully get the baby girl to take several small breathes on her own. Within minutes deputies escorted the baby to a local hospital via ambulance. We are happy to share that baby Alaiah is in stable condition at the hospital and being taken care of by her mom. A very proud Grandfather shared a video of the incident with us.
