DID "PROJECT POP DROP" JUST PERMANENTLY END HOMELESSNESS FOR SOMEONE? Yes we did! Introducing the PROJECT POP DROP HOUSE! The Little Red Project Pop Drop House is really amazing. It is 64 sq. ft. in size, has a bed, heat, air-conditioning, windows, a small desk and plenty of storage space. The front door can be locked so the person's belongings will be safe. The home is part of a "tiny home village" in the Alexandria Park section of North Hollywood, California, and with...in the village, the resident of the home will have access to onsite free meals, showers, case management, housing navigation, mental health rehabilitation, job training, and job placement. The "Little Red Project Pop Drop House" was built by the City of Los Angeles and along with the other 102 tiny homes that will be sharing the "village" with it, it will be masterfully operated and maintained by Ken Craft and his amazing staff at the Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission. The Project Pop Drop Home will literally END HOMELESSNESS for HUNDREDS of people, because after 60 to 90 days, the resident of the home will transition into larger, more permanent housing, making way for ANOTHER person to permanently leave the cardboard encampments and the tents on the streets behind and move into this beautiful little home. AND THAT'S NOT ALL! Project Pop Drop is planning to sponsor MORE of these tiny homes which will end homelessness for countless additional people! We are determined to end homelessness for as many people as possible. It literally "takes a village" to permanently end homelessness and Project Pop Drop is now an integral part of these villages. #ittakesavillage HERE ARE PHOTOS OF THE "LITTLE RED PROJECT POP DROP HOUSE"...and the 103 unit village it resides in.... CAN WE HELP THREE COMMUNITIES WITH ONE PROJECT POP DROP VISIT? Sure we can! Yesterday, Project Pop Drop traveled to "beautiful Downtown Burbank", California and visited Family Promise of the Verdugos. They operate facilities that house homeless families in THREE communities, Burbank, Glendale, and Eagle Rock (California). Before COVID, they were housing 25 homeless families with children, but now because of COVID they are finding housing for over 600 families experiencing... homelessness. They are ending homelessness ONE FAMILY AT A TIME by providing families with children a homeless shelter, then rapid rehousing, and then homeless prevention services. Accepting our enormous bounty of donations on behalf of Family Promise of the Verdugos was Albert Hernandez (Executive Director), Carrie Prado (Program Manager) and Krystal Lee (Housing Navigator). Albert received the "Citizen of the Year" award by the Burbank Association of Realtors and he was recognized as a Top 30 in 30 Visionary by the Southern California Leadership Network and the LA Chamber Of Commerce. This weekend, Project Pop Drop stopped by with an overwhelmingly enormous array of food, clothing, new socks, new underwear, blankets, pillows, and dental kits, plus so much more! Project Pop Drop purchased all the food we donated out of the profits of ink and toner cartridges for printers that were purchased from our other company, Platinum International Products And Services. Our Project Pop Drop team was led by California team leader Jeff Korell and co-founders John Snyder and Niki Shadrow Snyder, and also included James Light and Joe Sepulveda, representing CityLight LA Church (Burbank, CA), Gary Thomas from Gary Thomas Entertainment, Karen Siegel and Quentin Grossman from Benco Property Management, David Sartin and Virginia Van Osdel Sartin from the dental office of Dr. Virginia Van Osdel, DDS, Sharon Sausen Korell, and Junior Pop Drop Team Members Lauren Shane (age 17), Anna Korell (age 15), Nathaniel Sepulveda (age 13), Natalie Sepulveda (age 11), Chloe Snyder (age 7), Alison Sepulveda (age 3), Dylan Snyder (age 3), Ava Snyder (age 3), and Levi Snyder (age 3). R.I.P. DAVE THOMAS.....He was the Head Chef at one of the largest homeless shelters in America, the Los Angeles Mission for over 20 years. He was a true success story. He was homeless with a very serious drug problem, and he was very hungry when he arrived at the steps of the Los Angeles Mission. He was brought in and given a plate of food, and then went through the homeless shelter's program and completely turned his life around. He got a job working in the kitchen of th...e Los Angeles Mission and worked his way all the way to the top to become the Head Chef at the shelter. For over 20 years, Dave Thomas had been planning the menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner and he fed approximately 1,600 people a day! On one of Project Pop Drop's donation visits, our usual contact person, Kimberly Battaglia wasn't available, so instead, we had the honor of being received by the Head Chef himself, Dave Thomas. He was SO delighted to receive all of our food donations that day! He also participated in Project Pop Drop's school program! Along with Kimberly Battaglia, Dave traveled to Communication and Technology School at the Diego Rivera Learning Complex, and addressed the High School students there, revealing his personal story of being homeless and hungry on the street and rising to be the successful person that he had become. The students were so inspired by Dave that they organized one of the best Food & Clothing Drives we have ever seen, and then 25 students joined Project Pop Drop and presented to Kimberly and Dave the enormous amount of donations they had collected in addition to all the food that Project Pop Drop purchased. We lost Dave Thomas on April 11. He will be sorely missed but he leaves behind a legacy of hope, and inspiration to thousands of people experiencing homelessness on the streets every night that they CAN rise above that horrendous life style and become successful in the future. R.I.P. Dave Thomas. See more

HOW CAN YOU HELP PEOPLE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS FROM ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD? We just received a donation from someone in Blakeslee, Pennsylvania......out here in Los Angeles. How did they do it? Project Pop Drop purchases an enormous amount of food each month out of the profits from their sister company, Platinum International Products And Services from all of their sales of ink and toner cartridges for printers. But in addition to all the food and other items that Proje...ct Pop Drop purchases, it can never possibly be enough. So we run Food & New Clothing Drives, collaborating with local businesses, schools, offices, and the Girl Scouts, where we collect even more donations for people experiencing homelessness, on top of what we have already purchased, creating a donation of epic proportions for those less fortunate! One of those Drives was an "online drive". To donate to people experiencing homelessness from anywhere in the world, simply go to walmart.com and send a Walmart EGift Card. It will arrive with one of our team members within seconds! That team member will then print it out, and then go to Walmart FOR you and purchase the donation you sent! Those items will then be brought to our next Project Pop Drop event later that month. Here is the Direct Link for those who wish to purchase a Walmart eGift Card to help someone experiencing homelessness outside on the street tonight: https://giftcards.walmart.com//Basic-Blue-Walmar/653984410 . You can put any amount you want on the card, and the second you finish, it will appear in a Project Pop Drop team member's email Inbox. The Walmart eGift Card looks like what you see on the left (BELOW) when it is received, and on the right is what THAT PARTICULAR Walmart eGift Card was turned into: 12 pairs of BRAND NEW Socks from Walmart which will be given to people experiencing homelessness on the street who desperately need them!
