Share your harvest pictures! This is a recent harvest picture from our very own - "Tahoe Potato Lady" Melissa Guthrie.

Tahoe it looks like we will have a light freeze tonight! Make sure to cover any tender plants that may be vulnerable with the snap in temperatures. Here are some helpful tips to protect your plants: Cover plants with a breathable material (large towels, sheets, drop cloths, drapes, blankets, cardboard, etc.) If using plastic sheeting be sure to put some type of fabric between the plant and plastic. Leaves/stems can freeze if touching plastic. Remember to remove the coverings ...the next morning so the plants don't burn or over heat with the next day sun. Harvest anything that may be ready and let ripen in a cool, dark place within your home. Temporarily re-locate pots and container plants to a sheltered place (under eaves, adjacent to home).
