We are excited to announce we are moving forward planning an IN-PERSON run/walk event to take place on Memorial Day Monday, May 31st. Circumstances can change anytime, and we cannot guarantee an in-person event until we all see each other at the start line outside of MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center in Laguna Hills on Memorial Day morning! We will be busy planning a safe, modified live 5k/10k event and understand you will have questions. We will do our best to address these comprehensively and update you as we know more. We are so happy to announce the Laguna Hills Memorial Day Event is back! After taking a break in 2020 due to the global pandemic, we are off and running again to bring you a Memorial Day event. You have the option to go 100% virtual, meaning you run, walk, or ride at your own place and we ship you your swag OR, if permitting allows, we will have an in-person 5K/10K Walk/Run in Laguna Hills on Memorial Day. If by March 31, 2021 it looks like we will not be able to host an in-p...erson event due to local and state pandemic guidelines, we will transition everyone to a virtual event. In light of the concerns surrounding COVID-19 and in line with County, State and Federal guidelines and recommendations, the 2020 City of Laguna Hills Memorial Day Half Marathon, 5K, and 10K has been cancelled. Refunds of race entries, minus Active.com service fees, will be issued in the coming weeks. The Spirit of Valor medal series will be put on hold and will resume in 2021, to honor Women Veterans. Please join us for the 2021 event to acknowledge Memorial Day and the sacrifices made for our freedom, and to support the City’s adopted Marine Battalion. Let’s come together to make 2021 the best event yet!
