JG's half a world away! 2020 Victorian Junior Lifesaving Championships were yesterday in Warrnambool Surf Life Saving Club We love seeing young athletes in action showcasing their skills and knowledge of beach and ocean conditions, and rescue techniques!

Many of these women were and are current JG Instructors. Continuing to inspire us and our future Lifeguards.

Dear Junior Lifeguard Families, We understand that there may be questions or concerns regarding COVID-19 and its impact on the Junior Lifeguard Program. As always, our first priority is the safety of our participants and the public. We are working closely with the Los Angeles County Fire Department Medical Director, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Health Department, and multiple school districts to develop recommendations for the department and our p...rogram. At this time, the 2020 Junior Lifeguard Program has new updates to the Swim Test dates: April 4 POSTPONED TO APRIL 18 April 18 Torrance Aq. Ctr May 3 Palisades Charter High School May 16 Belvedere We will share more information with all of you as it becomes available. B and C Open Registration will run as usual. Spotlight on our Surf Racing Team: This advanced Junior Lifeguard Program is geared toward our competitive @lacojuniorlifeguards ages 15-17. The SRT focuses on surf swimming, paddling, ski paddling, beach flags, and rescue relays with opportunities to compete and travel nationally and internationally. In 2019, 5 SRT members represented @uslasurfracing in Durban, South Africa on the Under 19 Team as part of the International Surf Rescue Challenge. ...
