Family photo goals

Good Monday morning! A big cup of coffee for me this morning and getting caught up on posting some of the Holiday Card mini sessions from the last few weeks. Cheers to a productive week!

Well, Hello! I hope everyone enjoyed their Mother's Day weekend! Since we have so much free time at home these days, I took a few minutes to torture my kiddos with some updated portraits! These are my handsome fellas. A session for our little lady is in the works! It will be a themed session and I am stoked about it! Any guesses on what theme we will be using?... Stay tuned!....

It looks like my camera loved this Mama and her babies as much as I did! I can't wait to deliver the entire gallery soon!!

For my son, theatre is life. Each show is an investment for him. During rehearsals, he gets close to his fellow cast members, he ends up knowing each song by heart, he learns from his superiors, he develops the occasional crush, and gets to shine on stage when it is finally show time. At home, we too learn his lines, cues, spacing, and notes for each show. This is his world, though. His passion. His beginning of independence and having a life of his own. I give him his space... although it is hard. I won't always know of what goes on backstage and the pressure he feels before each performance. I can't magically take away the mistakes made during dress rehearsals or even during shows.... But I will forever be there in the audience as his biggest fan. And from time to time, when he lets me into his world (or in this case, his dressing area prior to his last show) I will also be there with my camera. The Augusta Players "A Christmas Carol" Role: "Scrooge at age 12."

Riley: TWO at TARGET!

I have photographed babies being delivered as well as military families reuniting at 3am.... and I still have to say that photographing my toddler at Target has been the most exhausting and challenging photoshoot of mine to date.Here is just a smidge of our last minute and completely unplanned Target sesh that took place tonight! Merry Christmas to the Alexander family! We took their family photos the night before dad left to report overseas. Please keep this strong family in your prayers as they tackle a year apart but still very close at heart.
