There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Proverbs 14:12 NASB "Follow your heart" is a phrase often used by people when offering direction in one's decisions. Many times in taking this advice, our hearts lead us down the wrong path. Before putting our trust in what our emotions are telling us, we must first put our faith in God. Running our emotions through the filter that is God's word we are able to get a clearer picture of where God is leading us. Your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left. Isaiah 30:21 God is consistently talking to us, telling us which direction to take. Our ability to hear him depends on how much time we spend strengthening our relationship with him. When we fail to spend time with God we become desensitized to his voice. By renewing our minds with the word we are able to adjust our frequency to match God's. Have a blessed evening!

Is 55:9 As amazing as we imagine our lives and our life plan to be, it does not compare to the plans that God has for us. We often cut ourselves short thinking that the decisions and choices that we make are taking us where we want to go. We fail to consider that if we were to let go of our plans and follow the plans God has for us, our lives would go beyond anything we could ever imagine. Have a blessed evening!

The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. Psalm 37:23-24 God has established the way for those who follow him. He directs us in the way that we should go but we decide whether to trust him and follow his guidance or to do it our own way. When we do things our own way we will stumble. We will run into challenges and difficulties. Our God is so amazing that even when we choose our way and fail, he is there to hold us up. We will all have trying moments in our lives, but we can trust that God is there every step of the way. Have a great day!

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we areyet he did not sin. Hebrews 4:15 In all his greatness and all his glory God willingly suffers in our suffering. He God's through every circumstance with us...good and bad. His walk with us is not from afar, he chooses to walk not only with us but in us. God is full of love and compassion for us. In all that we go through he is there, we are NEVER alone. But everything exposed by the light becomes visibleand everything that is illuminated becomes a light. Ephesians 5:13 There is nothing that can be hidden from the eyes of God. He sees it all...the good and the bad. When we live our lives hidden in darkness, he will find a way to expose us to the light. The amazing part about this is that not only will the truth become visible but because it has been exposed to the light...It them will become light in itself. God uses ALL things for his GOOD plan, our mistakes included. We must stop hiding in the darkness for when we do we will see how God will transform our lives into light, not just for ourselves but for the world.
