First day swim to step....and of course she made it! (what seems like 2 ft to us looks like a football field to the little ones!)

I love the sound of all the poolside families cheering for an infant's first float! Nothing better!!

EVER WONDER if the lessons are worth it? Here's the quick story as told by a swim graduate's mimi. Scenario: Mom and dad in the backyard gardening. 3 yr old in 2 ft wading pool, 13 mo old wandering around the backyard.... Dialog from 3 yr old: Look, Mommy, sissy is floating! Yes, the 13 mo old got in the wading pool and did what she was trained to do - roll on her back and float. THEY ARE WORTH IT!!
