Nothing like a night at home with the family and good food!. . We made tri-tip and a scrumptious green salad. What a fun and educational day! . We went to an IMAX and watched a movie about the Lewis And Clark expedition and one on the Amazon. I was listening the The Ed Mylett show today and he said something that really stuck with me. . . Your life is like reading a newspaper. The headline that YOU are reading TODAY is there because of the decisions YOU made 60-120 days ago... ( not a direct quote) . How true is this! So if the headline is reading something amazing that lifts us up , the. We are probably living a life that we are excited by and proud of. If the headline is making us sad, mad, or frustrated... then we aren’t living up to our potential or living how we want to. Whether that is in business, family, or personal life. . The point is... we are in charge of ourselves and what outcome we have. The decisions we make today will show 60-120 days from now. . It’s not immediate, any type of meaningful progress takes TIME! . Some sort of sickness has hit our household!. Luckily, I am always well prepared! I always have the essentials on hand. When it comes to warm summer days, a refreshing salad can be precisely what the body needs. This awesome salad has fresh strawberries, and shredded carrots for a summer feel. I don't know about you, but for me, summer calls for eating fresh fruits. To change things up, this salad has a lemon tahini salad dressing. Do you struggle with keeping up on your workouts? I do! You aren't alone! I have found out over the years that two things help me stay consistent.... 1. Having a workout partner. I am someone who won't let my partner down by no-showing on them. 2. Doing workouts that are either lower in rep duration (6-20max) or for short spurts at a time. Like a 30s sprint! We all know that moving your body every day is uber important. The key is doing it and sticking with it! My advice: Keep experimenting with different types of exercise until you find the one that you enjoy. Then, if it suits you, find someone who also appreciates that type of workout and then do it together! What is your favorite way to workout???
