KG Latching Relays are on their way to Space! We are currently supplying our world class latching relays to the University of Chicago for their HELIX Project. HELIX is a balloon-borne particle astrophysics detector funded by NASA, designed to make precise measurements of high-energy particles originating from space. The relays, which will be actuated remotely using satellite telemetry to control power systems on the payload, can be seen undergoing testing below.
