@encinitas4equality collected loads of supplies for the migrant children waiting in San Diego and my little helper rode with me to deliver. We had a great conversation on the long ride down about how lucky we are and how that means we must give back all the more to people in need. Advocates for children are advocates for all children. Thank you @contessamadre for joining the effort! It was great to serve with you again.
Couple of tough breaks tonight. Pirates battled to the end.
Surfside Educational Academy is Oceanside’s hidden gem! This school is filled with dedicated staff and students. Thank you for letting me visit on our welcome back week. #OsideUnified #SEASharks
Congratulations There’s no way to thank you enough.
I had a blast welcoming students back to Jefferson Middle school today! Even behind the mask we could see them smiling as they walked back on campus. #GoFalcons #OsideUnified #WelcomeBack
On this day of visibility I want all of our children to know they have a safe place in our schools.
At OHS today we distributed over 700 packs of food to sustain Oceanside kids over the Spring Break. I cannot say it enough, our nutrition service employees are my pandemic HEROES. This was done at every secondary site in Oceanside today multiplying the impact on our city. #OsideUnified #OsideFamily

Morning reflections. An important part of my morning routine is reflecting on my priorities and challenges. Encouraging reflective thinking can create lifelong positive habits in our students. How do you practice reflection and how have you passed that habit to the next gen?
