Employers take note! A new decision from the California Court of Appeals in Ward v. Tilly’s, Inc. adopts a new standard for reporting time pay applicable to non-exempt employees. Tilly’s has now expanded reporting time to include situations where employees are required to contact their employer (either by phone, email, logging on to work system, etc.) before their on-call shifts.
