FALL NATIVE PLANT SALE Sunday, September 27th, 2 PM- 4 PM at the Joshua Basin Water District Office Parking Lot* Add some color to your landscape with true local native plant seedlings. Once established, native plants offer low-water use, natural defenses against wildlife and pests, while providing food and shelter for local animals. Native plants are also heat and cold resistant and tolerate our poor soil.... Additionally, this event will be offering a FREE seed and plant swap booth, ever popular at our spring Water Education Day. A wide variety of plants will be sold ($9 each, or 3/$25--cash or local checks only.) The native plant seedlings for sale are: Cat's Tongue Wooly brickellia Desert Willow Acton's encelia Galleta Grass Bladderpod Paperbag bush Catclaw acacia Jojoba Desert needlegrass Mojave aster Joshua Tree (limited) Mojave yucca, and others!
