Here goes a slideshow for a Copper Water Re-pipe we performed. We had inspection with City of San Leandro Building department and passed inspection. The repipe was completed in 1 day. Our quality does not come at the expense of efficiency. There is Plastic, Press Fittings and other products that can be used now-a-days that can facilitate the process of working on water lines, however we only use those products when we absolutely have to. In our humble opinion, ridgid copper pipe and solder is a proven plumbing solution that’s stood the test of time. We assisted a historic San Leandro restaurant with a new approx 100’ underground waste/drain pipe project. The existing waste/drain pipe underneath the ground was completely deteriorated and collapsed, thus backing up the restaurant. This project was tough, due to the pipe being collapsed, but none the less we got it done! The existing super/drain pipe ran underneath the Cabinets/Front Counter. We didnt want to demo the cabinets so we did an Open Trench Re-Route in front of... the Cabinets. This allowed to preserve the cabinets in the front counter for the customer. This segment of the pipe was completely collapsed so we were going to have to do an open trench anyways. We might as well preserve the cabinets and keep the cash registers in tact. We then did a Trenchless from the Front Counter to the the Restrooms and from the Restrooms to the sidewalk (approx 80’ of pipe). The project was a success and we were able to install new 4 HDPE (SDR17) pipe for the customer. We used all heavy duty materials. The combination of some Open Trenching(when needing) and Trenchless allowed us to complete this project in a timely fashion.
