Here’s a reminder for you to check your oil routinely if you don’t Lack of oil on valvetrain is CRUCIAL. These parts are constantly moving at high rates of speed and having metal to metal contact can cause the metal to heat up and deform. Oil acts like a lubricant of course, but also to help reduce engine temperature as well when there is the right amount of oil. Happy friyay! Crazy how one misaligned part in the suspension can cause even the littlest noises. Vw Tiguan had CEL for intake manifold runner fault. This was a weird one. Car had a misfire and fuel trims were high. Fixed the misfire and then started to try and figure out the fuel trims. Replaced PCV because it was having a small vac leak because of the small rear on the diaphragm and thought that was the issue, after replacing the Breather it caused the trims to go even higher! Defiantly a wacked out issue.
