Jackie's Pet Grooming, Citrus Heights & Sacramento

It was her second "hair cut"done by Stevia. It's a little messy, but that's because we let puppies tell us when they're done. We build a foundation of trust while teaching them that grooming has to be done. We want all of our dogs to look at their time with us as a positive experience. "Give and take" is our motto with puppies. - Melissa

Happy Tuesday everyone! Time to get back to work for Stevia and I. We are closed Sunday, Monday and Thursdays. Open 8am til about 6pm on the other days Pictured below is our shop dog, "Roux". (Ms. Jackie named her our shop dog) she is my best friend and has been coming to the shop since she was just 6 weeks old. If you notice her ear and enjoy the look, you're in luck! We will be starting color services again late next month! We can do ears, tails, and their paws. A custome...r favorite is to make their babie's tails an ombre of different colors. We know the subject can be touchy with some people, but we would never add any stress to your pet's time with us. Color services are safe, vegan, cruelty free for your pets and are not permanent lasting dyes. - Melissa

It was his first haircut (4 months old) and he did wonderful. We are growing out his coat so all I did was comb it out, lightly trim about half an inch off his body then shaved his face and feet clean. "Clean face" & "clean feet" are typical for poodles. Show cuts and pet cuts for poodles almost always include the bare face look. PS: My photo is outside in our enclosed potty yard because he's was just a puppy and they need to be taken out every couple hours to become house broken. All of our dogs and cats are almost, always done in about 1 1/2 hours, but puppies need more time and care to build a level of trust with us as their groomers so he was there just about 2 hours. - Melissa
