Are you looking for a healthier choice? . . . One characteristic that sets extra virgin olive oil apart from other oils is its extremely high levels of polyphenols. These compounds act as antioxidants and protect cells against unwanted inflammation and disease, including various types of cancer and atherosclerosis. Extra virgin olive oil contains more polyphenols than other olive oils. #OliveOil #Fresnostate California Olive Oil Council (COOC) ENZO Olive Oil California Olive Ranch

The staffing team from the Fresno Clovis Convention and Visitors Bureau received a warm Bullldog welcome as they toured Jordan College farm and facilities this morning. Included in their tour was a visit to the Gibson Farm Market with highlights presented by agribusiness marketing student intern Shania DeJarnett, an introduction to the Jordan Agricultural Research Center by Geoff Devershian, an olfactory sensory experience in the Olam Sensory Laboratory with Dr. Carmen Licon,... an overview of the Food Science culinary kitchen within Dr. Jamie Levitt, and a driving tour of the University Agricultural Laboratory. The visit was designed to introduce FCCVB staff to Fresno State agritourism opportunities that they could subsequently offer to regional, national, and international visitors in collaboration with Jordan College faculty and staff. We look forward to working with you Visit Fresno County See more
