As we approach school re-openings, parents, teachers, and students are faced with uncertainty about the 2020/2021 school year. Last day of school for Briella and when I look back at the start of the year I can’t help but notice how much she has grown!! She grew about three inches taller, gained five pounds and is thriving!! She is just a whole new girl after having SDR surgery last June. I can say everything about her all around has improved including speech. Sebastian has been invited to attend The Angel City Games in California! (Adaptive sports for people of all ages & different abilities!!!)One of the days we are there they have toddler day where Sebastian will actually get the chance to compete with kids around his age who are just like him. . . When you get pregnant & find out you’re having a boy, you instantly start thinking of future aspirations such as watching him play sports when he’s bigger. But, if you’re like us, before our sweet boy was even born we were told all of these dreams were no longer possible. Sebastian would never grow up to play sports and we just had to accept that, that was that. . . When they reached out to us, I was honestly blown away. Is this real life?! They advocated so hard for Sebastian to come, we didn’t think this was something that would be ever possible for us & now, we’re leaving in 11 days as guests of honor to hopefully this new world that Sebastian will love so much. This new world that will show him that anything and everything IS possible for him. We are seriously so blessed & so thankful for this opportunity.
