Read on for Marc's incredible story About a year and a half ago I made a visit to my ophthamologist’s office to have him look at severe redness in my left eye. The Dr. examined the eye and told me he was going to treat me for conjunctivitis and prescribed drops that are normally used to treat the disease. He said the redness should be gone in a week. A week later there was no improvement and my... eye had actually gotten worse. I went in for a follow-up appointment and was informed that my regular doctor was not in the office and that I would be seen by Dr. Vosoghi, who specializes in glaucoma. During the exam, Dr. Vosoghi suspected something else going on in my eye and immediately made arrangements for an MRI. Images showed there were 2 tumors, one below my left eye and another on the left side of my brain. I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma. With his keen eye and superior knowledge of his profession, Dr. Vosoghi was instrumental in the start of treatment on the disease which was ignored by doctors who didn’t take the proactive course that he did.
