Some of you may not be aware the City provides free sandbags, and sand, for any Hercules resident who may need them. The Sand Mounds are located on the back edge of the parking lot behind the trailers at City Hall and the back edge of the parking lot at the Community Swim Center. Public Works has replenished the sandbags, and replaced the shovels. Residents may come fill sandbags whenever they need them. 111 Civic Drive or 2001 Refugio Valley Blvd. Hercules CA, 94547

The Contra Costa County Health Department, supported by the Sheriff, County Fire, Rodeo-Hercules Fire District, Hercules Police Department, and the graciousness of Valley Bible Church is providing a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Monday the 1st and Tuesday the 2nd. Like all vaccination clinics, it is by appointment only, for those eligible to receive the shot. We are asking all local residents to avoid this area of Willow Ave if possible, to help reduce the amount of vehicles passing through. The clinic will be held from 10 am - 4:30 pm, so we hope there will be no impact on commute traffic. If you have questions about the vaccinations, who is eligible, how to sign up, etc, please contact County Health Services. Their website and phone number are on the flyer below.
