Succulent Saturday is coming up! Proceeds benefit the Sonoma County Master Gardener Program who volunteer to maintain our beautiful plants here at the Senior Center! Our plants are so loved and enjoyed by passerby of all ages. We are so grateful for the care and support that goes into our planter boxes and supporting the SCMG is a great way to share the love. Make sure to show your support for them on Saturday, April 17 from 9:30am to 1:00pm at 402 Tucker St (between Fitch an...d University St). Sonoma County Master Gardeners will be selling succulents of various sizes from 4-inch to 1-gallon pots. They accept cash only, and ask that you please wear a mask. --- ¡Se acerca el sábado de las suculentas! Las ganancias benefician al Programa de Jardineros Maestros del Condado de Sonoma, quienes se ofrecen como voluntarios para mantener nuestras hermosas plantas aquí en el Centro para Adultos Mayores. Nuestras plantas son tan queridas y disfrutadas por los transeúntes de todas las edades. April is National Volunteer Month! Our Senior Center volunteers have been working this past year to provide our seniors services such as: -DASH: Volunteers are the drivers for this critical service -FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS: Getting our seniors the nutrition they need -INSTRUCTORS: Teachers have been heroes who keep us moving -CARE CALLERS: A light in the darkness for isolated seniors during the pandemic... -PORCH VISITORS: A friendly face stopping by to say hello to our most isolated. Join us in honoring these amazing volunteers who have kept our critical services in operation this past year at our Monday, April 19th City Council Meeting at 6 PM.
