St. Francis Foundation of Santa Barbara

The St. Francis Foundation was proud to award grants totaling over $1,070,000 to local agencies that provide access to healthcare, especially to those most in need in our community. Grants were given out at the annual luncheon on June 12, 2018.

On June 9, 2016 the St. Francis Foundation held their annual grants luncheon, giving out $940,000 in grants. The main program that the SFF supports is the Parish Nursing Program, managed by Cottage Health. Those agencies who received grants this year to help with access to healthcare, especially for those most in need, include the following: Carrillo Counseling Services, The Cecilia Fund, Cottage Health Palliative Care, Doctors Without Walls, Family Service Agency, Foodban...k of Santa Barbara, Friendship Adult Day Center, Jodi House, Mental Wellness Center, Pacific Pride Foundation, PathPoint, Peoples Self-Help Housing, Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics, Sarah House, Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation, and Willbridge. In addition, funds were awarded to the Foundation for Santa Barbara City College and the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara for nursing scholarships. Volunteers for the Parish Nursing Hispanic Outreach Program were also honored for their valuable support.
