Can't take too much credit for this job. I supplied the finished cabinets and the homeowner (who is also a contractor, and a good one) installed them and did the rest of the work. It came out so nice, I couldn't resist posting the pictures. He really made my cabinets look good!
Simple File Cabinet in Oak. Stained to match existing office cabinets.
I know I already posted this one but I just got to go back and do a couple extra things. This unit is looking even nicer with the new tv and added hardware. I love taking pictures this time of year, Christmas decorations make everything look even better.
Rustic Alder with dentil crown molding, Custom hood and Entertainment Center
I get to go back in awhile to help put in the new (bigger) tv. Also I think the carpet is gone. Can't wait to see how the white looks against the new wood floor. New pictures when I get back there but I wanted to post these. I think it came out really nice.
White Shaker Style Kitchen I did awhile back. Maple Butcher Block on the island. We went back and added some glass doors in the corner. This is in an old converted schoolhouse. The wood floors are original from the 1920's and the island is from an old high school science lab.
Hi Everyone. Facebook just let me know that I have 200 likes. Thanks to everyone that has liked my page. If you like what you see, please share. I appreciate the support.
White TV wall. Still had some handles to put on but this wall unit came out really nice. I also did the shiplap on the wall. I bet it looks even better with books and pictures on the shelves.
Finished Cabin in Wilsonia. Knotty Pine with a Cedar Stain. I got to do some rustic shelves on the end of the pantry. The tree was taken from their property.
Black Vanities, White Linen Cabinets
Delivered this today. A laminate cabinet for a physical therepy office in Dinuba. I forgot to take pictures there, so here are some from the shop.
Painted Cabinet for Mudroom. Legs come down to the floor but no bottom so you can just kick your shoes off. Hooks for backpacks and jackets. Storage above with a little crown molding to accent. The stained top was a nice touch, plus it won't show wear like the paint. Hard to get a full head on shot because the hallway is a little narrow. This is about 10 feet long.
A cabin I did at the end of the summer. Knotty Pine matched to some of the older wood in the cabin. Got snowed out, and with the snow happening now, it may be a bit before I can get back and get some final pictures.
Built these awhile ago. Customer picked them up and painted them himself. Can't wait to go get some pictures of them finished and installed.
The smaller tv bookshelves are built into an alcove. The desk area makes great use of the end of the room. I put a switch in and wired in the accent lighting. All of the small lights on both units are on dimmers.
Bookshelves Painted with Swiss Coffee
Rustic Alder Vanity with Dark Walnut Stain
I did not do this stair railing. Mark Vetter the contractor I worked for on this cabin, puts all kinds of custom touches on his jobs. You have to see this stuff in person to appreciate. True craftmanship on every job.
Doug Fir Cabinets with Yellow paint, Lacquer topcoat. The paint is brushed on lightly to give a distressed effect. The countertop is wood with a natural edge. This cabin is brand new but has an old time feel.
Kitchenette. Oak with Golden Mahogany Stain. 1 day- cabinets, countertop, micro and sink installed and ready to go.
Simple Entertainment Center Built-In. Alder with Dark Walnut Stain.
Painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint
White lacquer with bead board back. There will be some hooks for jackets and some baskets in the bottom openings.
Small standard island into a kitchen centerpiece. Can't wait to see it painted.
Owl Boxes. Just made 20 of these. Great rodent control if you have some land.
My choice for new construction is probably a lacquer finish, stain with clear or white. But for remodeling the chalk paint is a great option. The more I use it, the easier it gets and the wax finish holds up really well. The great thing about it is the ability to maintain the finish. For a distressed look to cabinets or furniture it is definitely the way to go.
Looking through some old job pictures for a customer. These frames and shelves were installed into existing spaces in a new home. A lot of times they build in shelves and just sheetrock and texture. This gives a lot more usable space and it looks nice.
White Lacquer finish with shaker style doors. The raised bar/ peninsula is stained with a dark mocha stain. Check out the wine rack in the end of the bar.
A small kitchen job that I did at the beginning of the year. The top cabinets are left original but the crown is painted to match the new paint on the lowers. Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Graphite with Dark Wax.
A project I just did with Embellish & Restore. A Reclaimed wood wall. What started out as a used boards ended up being a really beautiful accent wall behind their reception desk. Thanks to Monica for the design.
Before and After.
Melamine Garage Cabinets- Organize your garage. These are just some basic storage cabinets. 24 inches deep and 16 inches deep behind the garage door track. They are built out of melamine, but the base is 2 X 4 or 2 x 6 treated lumber so you can wash the floor. If your gagage is a mess give me a call. Matt Harder- 909-2920.
Another Kitchen done with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint from Embellish & Restore. New paint, granite and backsplash make this kitchen look brand new at a lot less than tearing everything out. Call me for an estimate. 909-2920.
I painted this kitchen with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint That I bought at Embellish & Restore in Visalia. This is a special color that we mixed up for the homeowner and then finished with a lacquer topcoat. I don’t have any before pictures so just picture your aging cabinets renewed with a fresh coat of paint for less than you think. Check out the Embellish and Restore page for details on the paint and lots of projects done using this paint. If you are interested in an estimate give me a call.
Convert a den or an office into a bedroom. These two closet cabinets have drawers inside and clothes poles. They are about 49" by 80" each but can be moved around if you needed. I can build them in any size. These along with a murphy bed are perfect for an office/guestroom.
Cabinets for a work room. The space in the uppers is for microwaves. I shot white lacquer on this and it came out really nice. Hopefully I can go back soon and get Pictures with the room done.
Something for My House
I took these with my phone so the quality isn't great. This is a "mud room" cabinet. There wiil be some hooks on the beadboard to hang jackets and some baskets down below to store whatever as you walk into the house.
A customer brought me this picture and wanted me match it only make it big enough for a 60" flat screen. It went back together pretty nice.
There is still plastic on the appliances but I wanted to get a couple of pictures. In a couple of weeks I will get back to take final pictures.
