Handmade pizza: perfect for a slow weekend. Try topping your base with thinly slices potato, thyme and lashings of Grounded Hemp Seed GOAT cheese. Fully plant based...but no apologies for the double carbfest. We did extra Peloton.

Bit of news for a casual Monday night.
We ran out of marketing budget so went with this instead.
In Australia, marinated goats feta is like a national staple. This is our version. It’s not like Greek feta (which has a sharper flavor and more crumbly texture)rather, it’s semi-firm and silky smooth, with a beautiful tang...and made primarily from hemp seed. So that’s different. To avoid confusion, we’re simply going to call it G.O.A.T Cheese. #greatestofalltime

A few things we’ve been working on during lockdown
Everyone is going berserk for home cooking videos at the moment. So we’re weighing in with instructions for our Breakfast Mac, using Grounded Cheese Free Cheese sauce. Step 1: cook pasta. Step 2: squeeze sauce onto pasta. Step 3: place in mouth-hole. Home cooking can be taxing but totally worth the effort.
We’ve spent the past few months locked away in LA, furiously packing cheese orders and working out how we can keep our startup on track despite global pandemic. Today things shifted forever: we can announce that we’ve just raised $1.74m from an incredible mix of investors, who shared our vision to make plant based products that are better for our bodies and for the environment. That means Grounded can go into full scale production; we’ll be able to grow our shipping capabilities (so no more pre-orders and waiting!), our distribution and make our products more accessible to people than ever before. We’ve come a long way (literally, from Melbourne Australia) to bring our products to life. Amidst the flurry of fundraising and feta-making, our R&D game remains strong. Next up in the test kitchen: a bubbling, squeaky halloumi. #plantbased
