We perfect our techniques so we don’t have to rely on our strength. In all of our programs, we assume our opponent is bigger, stronger, and more aggressive than ourselves. We train ourselves for energy efficiency so that we can execute our techniques on the right time. Our win is to get home safely.

I’m a lover, not a fighter. I believe at our core, we are all fighters. I believe that you can’t truly love unless you are willing to fight. Fight for yourself, your marriage, your family, your health, your community, fight for what you love. Some of us were never taught how to fight, either physically, or metaphorically or both. For others, we just need to remember how and when to bring out the fight in us. For me, I learn to fight not because I plan to use it in a physical sense, although if I find myself in one I will have developed tools to defend myself. I learn to fight to remind my body that I’m worth fighting for, and I’m capable of fighting for what matters to me. I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you are a lover, you are a fighter. Every month we publish monthly calendars for all programs that show exactly which lessons are taught each day so that you know what techniques you’ll be learning before you show up for class.
